| HOW IT WORKS
The Thermistor
- Designed to accurately monitor
room temperature at 2” off the
floor
- Capable of detecting temperature
changes as little as half of a
degree
- Detects cold air that has entered
the room and dropped to the
floor
Rinnai Response - Within 10 seconds, the Rinnai begins to gently heat the room at low fan speed
- It increases fan speed and BTU output if necessary to achieve set temperature
- Once desired temperature is achieved, the unit shuts off and goes into stand-by mode
Room Monitoring
- As the temperature of the room gradually drops, the ductless heater restarts and gradually warms the room back to the set temperature
- If there is a sudden injection of cold air, the unit will respond with higher fan speed and BTUs to quickly restore the set temperature
